Bos Verbas is a camping and caravanning club, members only, certified site. We take all types of unit including motor homes, camper vans, caravans, tents and trailer tents.
Facilities
We are a small, quiet site, surrounded by farm land, enjoying an elevated position above Praa Sands with panoramic views over countryside and out to sea. We have very large flat grass pitches with electric hookups available. In addition we also offer two fully serviced grass pitches with their own exclusive use shower and toilet facilities. This is the place to come if you want a peaceful retreat at a more exclusive site. We are within easy reach of the whole of the west of Cornwall, both north and south coasts. Bird song and some amazing sun sets are included free!
Facilities
To help maintain Bos Verbas as a peaceful retreat we are an adult only site, but will accept young people from 16 years as part of a family group. We operate as a quiet site and have a policy of no noise between 10pm and 8am. Please ensure all members of your party are aware of this before booking. Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed, with a maximum of 2 per pitch.

Serviced Pitches
We have two large level grass pitches (Puffin and Palm Pitches) enclosed on 3 sides with mature hedges providing a high degree of privacy and open to south facing sea views. On each pitch there is a private shower hut which includes shower, flush toilet, wash basin, hair dryer, heated towel rail, and fan heater. Paper hand towel and cleaning materials are supplied, please bring your own towels.
Each pitch is fully serviced to include the following

Puffin Pitch
Named after our boat planter in front of the pitch and enjoying easy access from the car park and lovely sea views.
This pitch is 25m by 14m and can easily accommodate the largest camping unit including awnings and vehicles. This pitch can accommodate up to 5 people and 2 dogs
Palm Pitch
Named after the stunning palm lilies that line one side of the this pitch.
Palm pitch is 25m by 19m and has room for 2 large camping units - ideal if you are coming with friends or family. Please note in line with our adult only policy; all party members must be 16 years or older
The pitch has two of each of the service features mentioned above. However, if booked for two units, both parties would share the shower/toilet facilities.
Palm pitch can be booked through our booking system for a single unit. If you wish to book a second unit for family or friends, please book the first unit to secure your dates and tick the box for a second unit and we will contact you to make the additional booking. The second pitch will be charged at the same rate as a standard hook up pitch – plus any extras such as dogs and more than 2 adults.
Prices
The pitch price (with exception of the hiker's pitch) includes:
- 1 camping unit (motorhome, caravan, tent or camper van)
- 2 adults
- 1 car
The hikers pitch (pitch 8) includes 2 adults, and a small two-berth tent, but no vehicle.
We are open this season from 22/5/2025 to 26/9/2025.
