Dogs - welcome

Whilst on site please keep dogs on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your dog immediately using the bins provided, this is for everyone's safety. A dedicated dog exercise area is provided on site.

We recommend vaccinations and parasite treatments are up to date.

Dogs must not be left unattended in Caravans/Cars or Tents. No breeds or cross breeds on the dangerous dogs act list will be accepted.

Children - are welcome again too!

We would ask that no ball games are played in the camping/caravan fields.

Showers And Toilet Facilities

Please leave showers and toilets as you would like to find them. If there are any issues when you visit the showers/toilets please report them to the owners (Ruth/David Terry).

Please note that we do not have baby changing facilities or nappy disposal. Our drainage will not accept the flushing of nappies or liners which will result in blocking the septic tank.

Drinking Water

Drinking water taps are clearly labelled. Please ensure they are fully turned off after use.

Chemical Toilet Waste Disposal

Chemical toilet waste must only be disposed of into the dedicated chemical waste tank. If you have camped here before, note that this is a new tank located behind the summer house. Please do not use the drain previously used which went into the septic tank and no is longer permitted under current legislation. Please clean any spillages with the hose provided.

Grey water (from washing up, etc)

This can be disposed of by pouring onto the hedgerow or boundaries around the pitches, but not only the main grass pitches please.

Recycling And Rubbish

We collect Paper, Glass, Plastic Bottles and Cardboard. Please separate these from your general rubbish and place in the bins provided. We try to minimise our carbon footprint as much as possible so please turn off lights, taps and use the free showers in moderation.

Quiet Time

Between the hours of 11pm and 7am we would repectfully ask you not to disturb others, especially when in a tent as voices and music travels more in the quiet of the evening. We would also ask you not to move cars around the campsite during this time; instead, if you do have a late night arrangement, please park in the car park to minimise disturbance to others. Please do not play loud music that may disturb others, especially at night. Peace and quiet is one of the attractions of our site and is what brings a lot of our regular campers back.

Wet Weather

In exceptionally wet weather conditions where the grass has standing water we may ask you to not park by your caravan/tent/hut and park in the car park to minimise damage to grass.

Ground Sheets

Please use breathable ground sheets whenever possible

Outside Lighting

The night sky in west Cornwall is amazing so we have deliberately kept our outside lighting to a minimum. This is so you can appreciate the many stars and planets that are visible in fine weather. Please bring a torch as most of our lighting will be low voltage or solar.
